Aliquid Melius Ltd is an independent strategic and operational advisory business founded by John Alcock in Auckland in 2017.
John works with founders, boards and leadership teams on difficult priorities that cross conventional functional boundaries. His experience spans strategy, operations, governance, transformation, compliance, procurement, systems improvement and complex stakeholder environments.
He holds BSc, MSc and LLB degrees and is enrolled as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, but is not practising. This legal background helps him understand complex issues, communicate effectively with professional advisers and prepare clients to make productive use of specialist expertise.
Some situations require specialist legal or professional input. When they do, Aliquid Melius can help clarify the issues, organise the relevant information, prepare an effective brief and identify the right person to assist. Where appropriate, John can introduce trusted legal contacts.
